British Undergraduate Historical Association

Promoting Undergraduate Historical Research

Who we are...
The British Undergraduate Historical Association is the UK's sole national student-led organisation promoting undergraduate research in, and study of, history.

Founded in late 2015 by a history student at the University of Reading, the Assocation has three central aims:

- The promotion of history as an academic discipline
- The promotion of undergraduate research and publication in the field of history.
- A greater awareness of the importance of history in the public sphere.

We are also proud to run Britain's best undergraduate history journal, The British Historical Review.  The Review exists to help undergraduates publish their first pieces of work, and - in doing so - meet the objectives of our Assocation.

Join us, either as an individual or through encouraging your university's history society to partner with us! Collectively, we can become Britain's largest gathering of undergraduate historians.
